Diana Rogers and Brian Moody, of Boulder, were married Aug. 8, 1978, in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii.
They met at Boulder High School in 1972 when Diana was a sophomore. Brian had just arrived in Boulder from California as a senior in high school.
The family returned to Boulder in 1984. The couple owns and operates Habitat Plumbing & Heating.
Together they enjoy mountain biking, volleyball, hiking, skiing, traveling and concerts at Red Rocks.
They have two children: Ian, of Charleston, S.C., and Taylor, of Denver.
They celebrated their anniversary in Avon and will also celebrate with a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in September.
